A 35+ year old Monier Concrete S-Tile Roof brought back to life
The Homeowner was looking to change the color the roof after they painted the house white. The original terracotta color roof did not work for them.
The house was painted before the roof was done. You want to work from the top down, cleaning and coating the roof before painting the exterior of the home. We had to keep the walls rinsed down while cleaning to prevent the dirty water from sticking to the stucco. We also had to mask off the walls more than normal to prevent any over-spray while coating the roof.
We pressure washed the entire roof, applied Nutech penetrating concrete primer Finished with two coats of Nutech Paint’s NXT Cool Coat in a Semi Gloss Black.
The Homeowner was Very happy with the way the roof came out and completed the look they were going for.
